Abiodun Aliu Agbabiaka is a seasoned insurance professional with over two decades of extensive experience in the Nigerian insurance and Takaful sectors. Throughout his career, he has held senior managerial roles in prominent organizations, demonstrating exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and operational expertise.
He earned a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Insurance from Lagos State Polytechnic (now Lagos State University of Science and Technology) and an MBA in Finance and Investment from Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria. These academic achievements have equipped him with a strong foundation in insurance principles and financial management.
Abiodun is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN) and the Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (IIFP), underscoring his commitment to professional excellence and continuous learning. His expertise spans conventional insurance as well as Islamic finance, making him a versatile leader capable of navigating diverse industry landscapes.
From 2002 to 2023, Abiodun held key positions at leading insurance firms, including African Alliance Life Assurance Plc, Standard Alliance Plc, Noor Takaful Insurance Limited, and Jaiz Takaful Insurance Limited. At Jaiz Takaful Insurance Limited, he rose to the position of Assistant General Manager (AGM), where he played a pivotal role in driving organizational growth and operational efficiency. In 2023, he transitioned to Crown Takaful Insurance Limited as an Executive Director of Operations, where he continues to contribute his vast expertise to the development of innovative insurance solutions.
